Campus Sexual Assault

The CARE Center is available to support students, staff, and faculty on college and university campuses throughout Douglas, Franklin, and Jefferson Counties. Each college and university is unique with its own culture, climate, and services. The CARE Center 24/7 Advocacy program is here to support those who have been affected by sexual trauma and abuse and help survivors understand and explore their options.

Our Advocates can help answer the question, “What’s next?” and can help you navigate campus and community services. All services are free and confidential and available to people of all ages and genders.

The CARE Center is a community-based organization that provides confidential services, meaning that we do not report any identifying or personal information to colleges or universities. Information specific to your college and university can be found below. You can contact The CARE Center Advocates 24/7 by calling 785-843-8985 or email our Campus Response Liaison Vincent Hampton.
